27 holes of Architect Ted Robinson championship golf and six sets of tees provide a challenge for players at all levels. Surrounded by views of the Santa Rosa Mountains, strategically shaped fairways lined with shade trees and stands of majestic palms provide playability and visual enhancement to the game. An outstanding practice facility includes a 20-station Driving Range, two Putting Greens, a Chipping Green, and a pitch and sand bunker practice area; stand ready to help fine-tune your game.

The Coachella Valley has become the place to enjoy the popular Pickleball sport. Our Racquet Center is one of the best in the region, featuring 23 racquet courts, including Tennis, Pickleball, and Pop Tennis, and a spectacular Pavilion overlooking the Stadium Court. Our Pro Shop is complete with the latest in active sports attire & state-of-the-art equipment.
Our Lifestyle & Wellness Center is available to Members who wish to enhance their well-being, offering a complete range of fitness experiences and therapeutic spa packages. Being fit and well means more than simply working out and healthy eating. At The Lakes, you’re supported by an experienced staff dedicated to helping you reach your personal goals. Our Center features the latest strength and cardiovascular equipment, spacious movement studios, reserved Spin and Pilates studios, locker rooms, dry saunas, steam rooms, spa treatment suites, and a 25-meter lap pool, all supported by a full schedule of classes and activities.
The stunning Clubhouse blends the Community’s history and the promise of Life Well-Lived in a building designed for active membership. Whether it’s an intimate evening in the Santa Rosa Room, a small dinner party in the Wine Room, or a more casual meal with family and friends on the Mountain View Terrace, our Clubhouse stands ready to provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for owners and their guests.
Only one golf membership per unit is allowed, however, there may be up to four tennis memberships per unit.
THE LAKES COUNTRY CLUB
The Lakes Country Club is very centrally located in Palm Desert and has an expansive clubhouse. Water comes into play on 23 of the 27 holes. Rolling terrain, average-size tif-dwarf greens with moderate breaks. Immaculate condition.
